No, these specialist waste bags cannot be left on a public highway. You can leave them in your garden or driveway whilst in use.
The bag must be placed within 5 meters of the road so that our lorries can collect it. In addition, the road must be at least 4 meters wide to allow collection. It also needs to be placed well clear of trees, walls, railings, overhead wires and any other obstructions that may prevent the lorry’s crane accessing the bag for collection.
This depends on your requirements. If you have a small drive or garden that can’t fit a skip but would fit a waste bag, you can save some money.
